SERVICE NEWS
Our Sunday morning services begin at 11.00am with tea and coffee available most weeks after the service. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sundays with Morning Prayer on the 1st and 3rd Sundays. A Holy Eucharist service is held on the 1st Sunday of each month at 6pm and Evensong on the other Sundays. On the 5th Sunday of a month there is usually a joint Mission Area service, held in different churches, in the morning and no other services. There is a short service of the Holy Eucharist on Wednesdays at 11am.
There will be no 6pm service on Sunday the 4th of October as the congregation will be going to Gwaenysgor for Evensong at 6pm with the Chester Cathedral Nave Choir.

Our church is open each day, from 9.30am until about 4.00pm. You are welcome to come in to have a look around, say a prayer, light a candle, or just enjoy the peace and tranquility.

Just Be You - Every other Tuesday there is a "Just be You" Dementia Friendly afternoon at 2pm with the next one on Tuesday the 13th of October. Everyone is very welcome to attend.

Mothers' Union - Our next meeting will be on Monday the 26th of October at 2pm when our speaker will be MU member Mrs Mary Steel talking about her "Adventures in Welsh".

Bible Study - A group meets on the first and third Thursday of every month at 2pm in church.

Local History Films - Robert Jones will be showing new films about the area in Meliden Community Centre at 2pm on Thursday the 8th of October. Admission £3.

Sing for Your Supper - There will be a Karaoke Extravaganza in church at 7pm on Friday the 16th of October. Tickets are £10 and will include a free hotpot supper.
ABOUT OUR CHURCH
There has been a Parish Church in Meliden for centuries. Here people have come to worship God and to learn to follow the Christian way.
The Church is also the centre of the community where people come for baptisms, weddings and funerals. On these occasions we speak to God who loves us, judges us, forgives us, strengthens us and finally welcomes us home. The Church provides worship which has warmth and friendliness and also that formality and dignity which speak of truths that do not change in a changing world.
