  • Our church is now open each day from 9.30am until 4.00pm.  Come in and light a candle, say a prayer, or enjoy the peace and tranquillity.  
  • Coffee Morning - Held every every Thursday in the vestry from 10am until noon. 
  • Mothers' Union - We will be holding a meeting on Monday 29th April 2019 at 2pm in St Melyd's Church when Mrs Edna Speed, founder of Save the Family and Plas Bellin, will be talking about her work.  Non members very welcome.
  • Wednesday 10th April we will be holding a Social Afternoon in church from 2pm until 4pm.  Come and hear someone talk about the work of the Mercy Ships, we will be collecting money for them during the month.  You can also enjoy a cup of tea and a chat
  • Annual Vestry Meeting will be held on Wednesday 10th April at 4pm.
  • Easter Services - A service will be held in St Melyd's Church on Good Friday, April 19th, at 2pm.  A service will also be hold at 10am on Holy Saturday.  Times for services on Easter Sunday are the usual ones, 8am, 11.15am and 6pm.  A bring-and-share supper and the the Holy Eucharist will be held by the Mission Area at Llanasa Village Hall on Maundy Thursday at 6.30pm (please bring your own plate, cutlery and glass too so there will be no washing up necessary).  An Easter Vigil Service will also be held in Gwaenysgor on the Saturday at 8pm. 
  • Looking ahead we will be holding our Garden Fete on Saturday the 8th of June.


About Us

There has been a Parish Church in Meliden for centuries. Here people have come to worship God and to learn to follow the Christian way.

The Church is also the centre of the community where people come for baptisms, weddings and funerals. On these occasions we speak to God who loves us, judges us, forgives us, strengthens us and finally welcomes us home. The Church provides worship which has warmth and friendliness and also that formality and dignity which speak of truths that do not change in a changing world.

The Mothers' Union meet on the fourth Monday of most months at 2.00pm either in the Church or in St Melyd's Hall.
