  • Our church is now open each day from 9.30am until 4.00pm.  Come in and light a candle, say a prayer, or enjoy the peace and tranquillity.  
  • Coffee Morning - Held every every Thursday in the vestry from 10am until noon.
  • Christian Aid Week - There will not be any envelopes through doors in Meliden during Christian Aid Week.  We are, however, still collecting for this charity in St Melyd's Church and there are also collection tins in the Meliden Post Office, The Miners' Arms, The Red Lion and Saints Gym. Please support as generously as you can.                                                                     
  • Mothers' Union - We will not be holding a meeting in May, our next meeting will be on the 26th of June in the Melyd Hall at 2pm. 
  • Garden Fete - We will be holding our annual fete on the 10th of June at 2pm in the garden of Meliden Vicarage, Ffordd Penrhwylfa, (in the event of bad weather it will move to Meliden Community Centre).  There will be a range of stalls, entertainment and refreshments available as well as a raffle.  Prizes for the raffle include £50, theatre tickets from Venue Cymru and Rhyl Pavilion, plus vouchers from High Society and Voel Coaches.  Please note there will be no parking at the Vicarage.  We hope to see you there.


About Us

There has been a Parish Church in Meliden for centuries. Here people have come to worship God and to learn to follow the Christian way.

The Church is also the centre of the community where people come for baptisms, weddings and funerals. On these occasions we speak to God who loves us, judges us, forgives us, strengthens us and finally welcomes us home. The Church provides worship which has warmth and friendliness and also that formality and dignity which speak of truths that do not change in a changing world.
