  • Our church is now open each day from 9.30am until 4.00pm.  Come in and light a candle, say a prayer, or enjoy the peace and tranquillity.  We are still undergoing some changes in our church, although we are making progress and now have new chairs at the back of the church, and hope these will be completed shortly.
  • Coffee Morning - Held every every Thursday in the vestry from 10am until noon (except the 29th of December).
  • Christmas Services will be held as follows:                                                                                                   Sunday 18th December: Community Carol Service at 6pm with Tre-Foel Singers and St Melyd Golf Club.                                                               
  • Saturday 24th December: Holy Eucharist at 11.30pm                                                                 
  • Sunday 25th December: Holy Eucharist at 11.15am                                                                             Sunday 1st January: Holy Eucharist at 11.15am (only service of the day)
  • Mothers' Union - We will not be holding a meeting in December, but our AGM and Holy Eucharist will be held in church on Monday the 23rd of January 2017.  

 

About Us

There has been a Parish Church in Meliden for centuries. Here people have come to worship God and to learn to follow the Christian way.

The Church is also the centre of the community where people come for baptisms, weddings and funerals. On these occasions we speak to God who loves us, judges us, forgives us, strengthens us and finally welcomes us home. The Church provides worship which has warmth and friendliness and also that formality and dignity which speak of truths that do not change in a changing world.

Mothers' Union
The Mothers' Union meet on the fourth Monday of most months at 2.00pm either in the Church or in St Melyd's Hall.
