SERVICE NEWS
Our Sunday morning services begin at 11.00am with tea and coffee available most weeks after the service. The Holy Eucharist is celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sundays with Morning Prayer on the 1st and 3rd Sundays. A Holy Eucharist service is held on the 1st Sunday of each month at 6pm and Evensong on the other Sundays. On the 5th Sunday of a month there is a joint Mission Area service, held in different churches, in the morning and no other services. We continue to hold a service of the Holy Eucharist at 11am on Wednesdays.

Sunday 29th December - As this is the fifth Sunday of the month there will just be one joint service in the Mission Area. This will be in All Saints Church, Ffynnongroyw at 10.30am. Everyone is very welcome.

There will be no 10am service on Wednesday the 1st of January.

LATEST NEWS

Our church is open each day, from 9.30am until about 4.00pm. You are welcome to come in to have a look around, say a prayer, light a candle, or just enjoy the peace and tranquility. ​

Just Be You - Every other Tuesday there is a "Just be You" Dementia Friendly afternoon at 2pm with the next one on Tuesday the 7th of January.

Mothers' Union - Our next meeting will be our AGM and a service of the Holy Eucharist at 2pm on Monday the 27th of January Everyone very welcome. ​

Bible Study - A group has started to meet on the second Thursday of every month at 2pm in church.

Thanks - It was lovely to see so many people at the various Christmas events and services held over the recent weeks. Thank you to everyone who supported the Christmas raffle which raised almost £400 for the church.
ABOUT OUR CHURCH
There has been a Parish Church in Meliden for centuries. Here people have come to worship God and to learn to follow the Christian way.
The Church is also the centre of the community where people come for baptisms, weddings and funerals. On these occasions we speak to God who loves us, judges us, forgives us, strengthens us and finally welcomes us home. The Church provides worship which has warmth and friendliness and also that formality and dignity which speak of truths that do not change in a changing world.

At the back of the Church there is an area suitably fitted out with things to interest young children.
